Cuts make a compass of charge.

When skin breaks, the wound edge holds a natural electric field. Cells follow that field to migrate and close the gap — healing is partly navigation by charge.

Wound electric field chalk study — repair guided by charge

What most people miss

A cut is not only damage — it redistributes ions. The intact surface and the wound bed sit at different potentials, so a field lines the edge. Keratinocytes and other repair cells can sense that vector and crawl along it.

Repair is partly guidance: the body draws a temporary map in voltage, then cells read it.

Why it matters

Disrupt the field and migration slows; restore a sensible pattern and closure can improve. Bio-electric medicine starts here — not as mysticism, as physics on wet tissue.

Human Life angle

We treat healing as another bio-electric craft: gates open, spikes travel, synapses learn — and fields tell cells where to go when something breaks.
