Human Life
06 · Horizon · Edge

Past a certain edge, light itself cannot climb out.

An event horizon is a one-way boundary set by spacetime geometry — not a solid surface. Outside, physics as usual; crossing it is a matter of path and time, not a wall you bump.

Cream-on-charcoal chalk — dark horizon with photon paths skimming, escaping, or circling

What most people miss

A horizon is not a brick wall. It is a geometric edge: paths that light can take, and paths it cannot reverse out of. Outside, ordinary physics; crossing is about trajectory and time.

Horizon means geometry, not portal — no wormhole mouth in this chalk.

Why it matters

Black holes taught that spacetime can hide regions from distant eyes. The edge is a rule about light, not a sci-fi doorway.

A dark sphere, cream photon paths skimming and escaping — wonder without rainbow disks or wormhole fantasy.
